Once operational, these systems require minimal worker involvement except at input and output stations, making for accurate and efficient inventory.
The main benefit of an ASRS is efficiency, accountability, security, ergonomics, and floor space utilization. The system delivers inventory directly to the operator, which reduces time spent looking for and traveling to the material. Integrating an ASRS into your warehouse operations is 3 to 5 times more efficient than non-automated operator picking.
